2012 NBVC Point Mugu Surf Contest

 

 

A few weeks ago I was snapping pics at the 2012 NBVC Point Mugu Surf Contest.  Determined to photograph the event and not just experience it as a spectator, I snuck my way into the venue as a Press/Media Photographer.  I setup where the other photographers were and acted like I knew what I was doing.  No questions asked.  I spent the better portion of Saturday (Aug. 18th) photographing some of Southern California’s best surfers at one of the state’s most coveted beach breaks.  Point Mugu.

I can honestly say, except for my time at Superbank, I’ve never seen so many barrels in one day.
